Las Vegas betting houses have a terrible prediction for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 season

We are just over five months away from the start of the next NFL season, and the NFC East is heating up-especially with the presence of the reigning champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Commanders, who faced off in last season's conference final.

Philadelphia secured 14 wins in 2024, while the surprising Commanders racked up 13 victories. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys had a disappointing season, managing only seven wins and missing the playoffs.

Dallas began the season with high expectations, but things quickly unraveled. Before suffering the injury that ended his season, Dak Prescott had a record of three wins and five losses. Now, Las Vegas betting houses are predicting another rough year for Jerry Jones' team in 2025.

Las Vegas' prediction for the Cowboys in the 2025 Season

As every year, betting markets in the NFL are highly active, and one of the major predictions is how many games each team will win in the season. Unfortunately for the Dallas Cowboys, the forecast is far from optimistic.

The over/under for the Cowboys is set at 8.5 wins, meaning that if they win eight games or fewer, a bet on the "under" would pay out, while if they secure nine or more victories, the "over" would win.

This indicates that bettors have little faith in what the Cowboys will accomplish in 2025, considering that the regular season consists of 17 games over 18 weeks. A clear example of this lack of confidence is that Las Vegas has the Philadelphia Eagles with an over/under of 11.5 wins and the Washington Commanders at 10.5 wins.

A Super Bowl win for the Cowboys seems highly unlikely

The top favorites to win the next Super Bowl are once again the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, who faced off in last season's big game.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys' odds of winning the Super Bowl are 50 to 1. This means that a $100 bet would yield $5,000 if Dallas were to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy-an outcome that appears highly improbable. In fact, 18 teams have better odds than the Cowboys to win the title in 2025.
