This revelation came from renowned NFL insider Adam Schefter on his podcast, where he mentioned that the two players reached out to Kupp by phone this week in an attempt to sway one of the league's most dominant wide receivers.

"Last Thursday, the Cowboys reached out about Cooper Kupp and they were interested," Schefter said. "Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, who I understand it, were on the phone with Cooper Kupp talking to him about the idea of coming to Dallas, and it was floated out there. And then the Cowboys heard the numbers, and they were at numbers that the Cowboys weren't going to get to."

Kupp's Return to the Pacific Northwest

There was a report indicating that the Cowboys were one of the teams heavily pursuing Kupp, who was released by the Los Angeles Rams. However, he ended up g with the Seattle Seahawks for 45 million dollars, leaving at least six other teams, including the Cowboys, disappointed in not being able to acquire this asset.
