Joe Burrow is due to receive a very unique present for Christmas as the Cincinnati Bengals' star awaits the delivery of one of the Batmobile cars from Christopher Nolan's iconic The Dark Knight trilogy, starring Christian Bale.

Regarded as some of the finest superhero movies of all-time, the franchise grossed around $2.5 billion dollars from 2005-2012 and featured a cast including Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Heath Ledger, Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy to name a few.

It will live long in the memory, particularly Ledger's performance as the Joker, and it seems as though the Bengals' quarterback is also a big fan of the films as he splashed some of his $55m annual salary to buy one of the cars.

Burrow told Ja'Marr Chase that there are just 10 replicas in existence and the cost set him back three million dollars as they spoke before the cameras for the Hard Knocks In Season with The AFC North documentary.

The 27-year-old will need to wait some time before it's actually delivered, however, with that being estimated to take around a year so fans will need to wait before they see him impersonating the low growl of Bale's Batman.

But he is excited, and even suggested he could get into full gear by purchasing a Batman suit and armor to drive the car to the Paycor Stadium around the time of Halloween in full costume and dress up.

However, this will be hard to pull off. The cars, which are produced by Relevance International and licensed by Warner Bros. Studios, are not road legal. They are for show, so he might have to petition the Cincinnati local government to pull off the cameo.

Who do the Bengals play in Week 14?

The Bengals will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 14 of the 2024/25 NFL season as they head to the AT&T Stadium on December 9.

A win would move them to a 5-8 record in the AFC North and it's likely the offense won't struggle due to Burrow's fine form that has led them to 335 points scored.

The defense, however, is yet to turn up this campaign as they have allowed 340 points against. That's the second-most in the NFL behind the NFC South's 3-9 Carolina Panthers.
