The Bills need a competitive team to dream of the Super Bowl again

Josh Allen could be taking Jordan Addison away from the Minnesota Vikings to challenge Patrick Mahomes and the entire AFC

In the last AFC Championship game, the Buffalo Bills fell to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, once again falling short of reaching the Super Bowl-a title the franchise has never won.

The Bills know that Josh Allen is the main reason they can currently compete at the top of the AFC. However, the team is in need of offensive playmakers. Last year, they lost Stefon Diggs, and the Bills certainly felt the impact. Mid-season, they went after Amari Cooper, but that alone isn't enough to contend in the highly competitive AFC.

The Bills are favorites to trade for Jordan Addison

Jordan Addison entered the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings as a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and has simply been spectacular. Up through the 2024 season, the USC product has racked up 133 receptions for 1,786 yards and 19 touchdowns in his short career.

Addison is a sensational receiver, known for his reliable hands and especially his speed-traits he showcased at USC, which earned him that first-round selection.

However, the situation now is that Addison might be looking to be the WR1 on a team. That's difficult with the Vikings, who currently have what many consider the best receiver in the NFL, Justin Jefferson.

So, according to Las Vegas oddsmakers, the Buffalo Bills are clear favorites to pursue a trade for Jordan Addison. His value could be very high, and the Vikings would likely ask for more than a first-round pick for him.

It's clear: for the Bills to compete, they need to give Josh Allen a true number one receiver-and the quarterback can take care of the rest.

Josh Allen's contract

Josh Allen signed a six-year, $330 million extension, with $250 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history in guaranteed money. He is undoubtedly an elite quarterback. Now, he just needs the weapons to go after the first Super Bowl title in Bills history.
