- NFL. NFL Schedule 2025: Check out the full list of games for this season
The Atlanta Falcons have turned the tables on years of ridicule with a sharp and unexpected dig at a familiar figure.
As part of the NFL's annual schedule release festivities, the Falcons dropped a Mario Kart-themed video that not only entertained fans but also included a pointed jab at former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
Falcons troll Bill Belichick
NFL teams have embraced the schedule reveal video trend in recent years, and 2025 was no exception.
While several teams leaned on humor or pop culture homages, the Falcons went a step further.
Their video, which recreates the beloved Mario Kart 64, stood out for its creativity, and for throwing a subtle but ruthless shot at a man who's long haunted the franchise.
The video starts as a lighthearted race through Atlanta landmarks with appearances from characters representing the Falcons' 2025 opponents.
But midway through, the scene shifts to a beach track where two racers resembling Belichick and Hudson are briefly shown next to a sign that reads, "We're not talking about this."
The moment references a viral exchange from a CBS Sunday Morning interview in which Hudson awkwardly shut down a question about how she and Belichick first met.
While it might seem random, the dig is part of a deeper back-and-forth history.
Atlanta famously blew a 28-3 lead to Belichick's Patriots in Super Bowl 51, a game that still defines a painful chapter in franchise lore.
In early 2024, the Falcons appeared poised to bring Belichick aboard as their next head coach before ultimately hiring Raheem Morris instead.
Belichick has since been seen in photos wearing Falcons gear alongside Hudson, seemingly in jest.
Adding fuel to the fire, Hudson recently sported a Super Bowl-themed shirt mocking Atlanta's loss.
The Falcons' response in their schedule video, light-hearted but unmistakably calculated, suggests the social media team hasn't forgotten the slights.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris has kept things professional when addressing Belichick publicly, but clearly, the team isn't above a little playful revenge.
And with a revamped roster and playoff aspirations for the first time in seven seasons, Atlanta seems determined to shift the narrative on and off the field.
