The National Football League has officially unveiled its 2025 schedule and all eyes remain firmly fixed on the Dallas Cowboys, who have emerged as the league's most in-demand team following the schedule reveal.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys are featured in three of the most sought-after games in the NFL's calendar.
"After Wednesday's NFL schedule release, here are the most in-demand games, per @VividSeats," Schefter posted.
At the top of that list is the season opener between the Cowboys and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, set to take place on Thursday, September 4 at Lincoln Financial Field.
"No game currently is in more demand than the Cowboys-Eagles opener, which has an average ticket price of $1,743 since the schedule was released," Schefter wrote.
Cowboys-Eagles headlines 2025 season with historic demand and rivalry intensity
The season opener will mark the first time since 2000 that the Cowboys and Eagles square off to kick off the regular season. It will also be the first game under new Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer, whose tenure begins with enormous expectations.
The Eagles, meanwhile, will raise their Super Bowl banner before the game, reminding Dallas of their two crushing defeats at Philadelphia's hands last year.
Beyond Week 1, the Cowboys continue to dominate the primetime schedule. Dallas will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day-a rematch rich in history.
That game carries an average ticket price of $1,491, making it the second-most expensive regular season contest behind only the opener. The Thanksgiving showdown marks Kansas City's 11th appearance on the holiday and their first since 2006, when they hosted Denver in what was also the first-ever live NFL Network broadcast.
In another headline-grabbing slot, the Chiefs will also host the Broncos on Christmas Day, a special game that Andy Reid and the organization had petitioned the league to make a yearly tradition.
Though their request was denied at league meetings, they've nonetheless landed a third consecutive Christmas Day game.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys will also be featured in a September 20 Sunday Night Football battle against the Green Bay Packers, another game drawing enormous ticket interest.
Rounding out the top five most in-demand games this year are Ravens vs. Bills (SNF) on September 7 and Jets vs. Bills in Week 18.
