NBC announced their official Sunday Night Football broadcast team for the 2022 NFL season.
On Tuesday, NBC communicated the new play-by-play voices and sideline reporter.
NBC will have Mike Tirico on play-by-play alongside color commentator Cris Collinsworth.
On the sidelines, Melissa Stark will be present with the reporting responsibilities on Sunday Night Football.
Sunday Night Football is destination viewing and we are thrilled to have Mike, Cris, and Melissa call the action and tell the stories that football fans have come to expect from primetime TV's #1 show," NBC Sports Chairman Pete Bevacqua said in a statement.
Mike Tirico will replace legend Al Michaels in the play-by-play spot. Tirico ed NBC Sports in 2016.
Since he arrived on the TV network, Tirico called 21 NFL games. Two preseason games and 19 regular season games alongside Collinsworth.
Collinsworth has 13 seasons working with the Sunday Night Football crew. He will begin his 14th season with NBC.
Meanwhile, Melissa Stark became the newest member of NBC's team. She's taking the role held by Michele Tafoya.
Stark served as a sideline reporter at ABC's Monday Night Football and was a host and reporter for NFL Network since 2011.
Tirico, Stark, and Collinsworth's first game will be the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, August 4.
The new NBC trio will call the 2022 NFL opening game on Thursday, September 8.
