Their selection reflects their meteoric rise in the college football world, with each player delivering unforgettable performances in the 2024 season. Meanwhile, Smith played a crucial role in Ohio State's national championship run, including a dominant performance against top-seeded Oregon in the CFP quarterfinals, where he recorded seven catches, 187 yards, and two touchdowns.

The players expressed their excitement for the honor, calling it a "dream come true" and "a tremendous privilege." Smith, in particular, said he is proud to represent Ohio State alongside Coach Ryan Day, celebrating the ion and tradition of Buckeye football. EA Sports aims to capture that excitement when the game officially launches on July 10, giving fans an opportunity to control their favorite teams and relive thrilling moments from the past season.

With pre-orders now available, fans can secure early access through the MVP bundle, allowing them to play three days before the official release. EA Sports is also set to unveil the official trailer later this week, promising an in-depth look at the gameplay and new features. As anticipation builds, College Football 26 is expected to be another major hit, testing whether the franchise can maintain its dominance in the sports gaming world.
