Kelly Flagg is embracing the demanding role of being the ultimate basketball mom, a responsibility she now shares with Donna Kelce, who famously ed her sons Jason and Travis throughout their football careers.

As her sons, Cooper and Ace Flagg, navigate their basketball careers, Kelly is making sure she's there for every game, whether that means hopping on multiple flights or organizing her schedule down to the minute.

Kelly's journey as a sports mom has taken on new heights, especially with her son Cooper Flagg playing for the Duke Blue Devils and his twin brother Ace committing to the University of Maine. The busy basketball season means Kelly often has to shuffle between cities and games to both of them - sometimes even on the same day.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Kelly shared her strategy for keeping up with her sons' packed schedules.

"Moms like me, we're running from game to game, running through airports trying to catch flights to different cities, and sometimes more than one in a day," she its.

Her logistical skills were on full display recently when she flew to Atlanta to watch Cooper's game at Georgia Tech, then turned around and flew to Greensboro to catch Ace's game that evening.

"Having Dr. Scholl's that day was pretty key," she added, emphasizing how essential comfort is during such busy times.

Kelly's ability to manage these demanding schedules is something other moms look to her for advice on.

"I know some moms this year have been like, 'What? I haven't booked a flight yet, it's so expensive,'" she detailed.

"And I'm like, 'You should've done it like me, three months ago!'"

She credits her preparation skills for being able to attend both sons' games. By carefully mapping out all their game schedules, Kelly ensures she can be there for both, making the most out of every opportunity.

When Kelly can't physically be in two places at once, her family steps in to help.

"My mom and dad have been staying with us all season," she shares.

When conflicts arise, her parents are there to split time between her sons' games. Kelly recounts how her dad attended Cooper's game at Georgia Tech, while her husband and mom attended Ace's game, ensuring one parent was present for both.

"We were able to make it back in time, but it was pretty close," Kelly said.

As the NCAA Tournament begins, Kelly's for her son Cooper continues. The Duke Blue Devils are set to face Mount Saint Mary's Mountaineers in the first round of March Madness on March 21, and Kelly will be there cheering her son on.
