Shedeur Sanders jokingly banned anyone from the Colorado Buffaloes from touching him as the 22-year-old quarterback prepares to trade college football for the professional scene when he enters the NFL Draft.

An impressive campaign from the youngster saw him produce 4,134 ing yards for 37 touchdowns as he helped push the Buffaloes to the Alamo Bowl, where they were defeated by the BYU Cougars.

Also allowing just 10 interceptions, he was even in the running for the Heisman Trophy for large parts of the 2024/25 season, but this eventually cooled off as Travis Hunter won the prize in New York.

Regardless, Sanders is still projected as a first-round pick and will likely be the leading quarterback in his class, with the likes of the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns thought to be interested.

So now a hot commodity, he introduced a new policy as he prepares to close out his time at Folsom Field by banning anyone from the Buffaloes' organization from touching him after their insurance expired.

"Hey, don't touch. Y'all don't have no insurance on me no more," Shedeur joked to Maurice Sims, strength and conditioning coach, teasing his inevitable exit from the Buffaloes and subsequent entry to the NFL when he's drafted in April 2025.

The Buffaloes had taken out an $18 million insurance policy on the young adult to make sure they were covered if the top draft pick eventually got injured in the game in San Antonio on December 9.

That's because players projected to go early in the NFL are usually left out of college football postseason games to protect them from an injury that could threaten their developing professional career.

Where is the 2025 NFL Draft?

The 2025 NFL Draft will be hosted from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Lambeau Field, home of the Packers, will host events.

Travis Hunter is expected to be the overall first pick, and the draft can be watched live on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network for those in the United States.
