Shedeur Sanders would not be welcome as Raiders QB: 'F*** that nepo baby and his showboating daddy'

Sanders could be selected as the team's new quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Shedeur Sanders is lighting up college football with the Colorado Buffaloes and is destined to be a first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, perhaps by the Las Vegas Raiders, but why are fans of the team so desperate to avoid the quarterback?

The links to the Allegiant Stadium come following the 22-year-old's appearance at the Las Vegas Aces-Minnesota Lynx WNBA semifinals when he was spotted conversing with the owner of the football franchise, currently last in the AFC West.

Part of that reason is a lack of good QB options as the franchise cycles through Aidan O'Connell, Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder in a desperate gamble to get some life into their offense at the heart of Sin City.

So Mark Davis pulled him aside at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, located literally a stone's throw from the Allegiant, and itted to being a fan of the star before hinting that Vegas could be his future home.

However, some Raiders fans aren't too keen on the idea of the son of Deion Sanders being their future man behind the snap as they hit out at the young adult by accusing him of being a nepo child, despite Coach Prime only taking over the Buffaloes in 2023.

One fan wrote online, "I'll trade you MHJ [Marvin Harrison Jr.] for [Maxx] Crosby. Then you can have a pair of useless nepo babies who aren't worth a s**t."

Whilst a second added, "F**k that nepo baby and his showboating daddy."

And a third said, "Be careful... with that attitude you might end up with Deion as your coach and his other son also xD."

Who do the Raiders play in Week 8?

The Las Vegas Raiders' poor form has seen them slump to a 2-5 record at the foot of the AFC West and it's not likely to end in Week 8 of the 2024/25 NFL season as they take on the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

The contest will be hosted on Sunday, October 27 and will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada at 16:25 ET/13:25 PT, and will be broadcast by CBS Sports.
