LSU called in the big guns for this one. With Olivia Dunne and the LSU gymnastics team in the Final Four of the NCAA championships, the school produced one of its iconic "natty" hype videos featuring help from Justin Jefferson and Flau'jae Johnson. As Dunne put it on Instagram with a shocked face emoji, "the end had me like..."
Dunne appears at the end of the video, opening the doors to show the prize the whole team, led by stars Haleigh Bryant and Kiya Johnson, is working for.
"At LSU, championships are in our DNA," Johnson reminds everyone in the two-minute hype video.
LSU legends reunite to wish Dunne good luck
The senior hopes to match Jefferson and Johnson by bringing home a National Championship to Baton Rouge. It would be LSU gymnastics' first title in program history. "Jettas" won the 2019 College Football Playoff with LSU while catching es from Joe Burrow, and now he stars in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings.
The other narrator, Flau'jae Johnson, is already a school legend thanks to her run to the 2023 NCAA Championship, when she helped Angel Reese outduel Caitlin Clark for the natty. Also a rising star in the rap game, "Big Foe" (4) is an NIL lightning rod.
With Reese and Clark moving on to the WNBA, Johnson is the top earner among women's college basketball players, according to On3's NIL 100 list. She and Dunne are the only female athletes in the top 25, with Dunne's $3.7 million valuation placing third overall and Johnson's $1.2 million at 14th.
