Meanwhile, amid this media storm, Melania Trump has been forced to deny rumors about her son Barron Trump's education. There were rumors circulating that Harvard had rejected Barron's application; however, he is currently a freshman at New York University (NYU).

Nick Clemens, spokesperson for the First Lady's Office, clarified: "Barron did not apply to Harvard. Any claim that he or anyone on his behalf applied is completely false." Melania has publicly expressed pride in her son's academic achievements and maturity.

In a December interview with Fox & Friends, Melania Trump praised Barron for his political knowledge and his ability to advise the president. "I am very proud of him for his knowledge, even about politics and for giving advice to his father," she said.
