Meghan Markle was the first modern member of the British royal family to vote for president in a U.S. election in 2020 and marked a historic milestone. Now, she was asked about her openness to pursue politics. What did she say?
In addition to her lifestyle brand As Ever, Meghan Markle also triumphs on screens in her Netflix show "With Love, Meghan." On the other hand, she recently launched a new Lemonada Media podcast, "Confessions of a Founder," which premiered on April 8 and releases a new episode every Tuesday.
However, in her recent appearance on "The Jamie Kern Lima Show" podcast she addressed a possible future in politics. Would she ever run for office? Kern Lima asked.
"No. Never," Markle replied with a chuckle, adding, "Oh, God. I mean, you could say, 'Never say never.' No, I'm not interested in that. No."
While Meghan became a member of the British royal family after marrying Prince Harry in 2018, they both quit their jobs as royals. They now live away, in California, where they raise their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
