No one could have imagined what transpired between Prince Harry and one of his charities, Sentebale. An internal rift with chairwoman Dr. Sophie Chandauka led to the resignation of Harry and others, with allegations of misogyny, bullying and harassment.
Obviously, the story has been picked up by every news outlet interested in Harry's moves. Chandauka's allegations were scandalous, and they harmed Harry's public image more than all others, given his high-profile nature. Nothing seems to be going right for Harry lately.
Prince Harry is "depressed and embarrassed" by Sentebale drama
Following his resignation, Harry has entered uncharted territory in of his mental state. According to Paula Froelich of NewsNation, the whole situation has hit him particularly hard.
Sources tell me that Harry is "deeply depressed and embarrassed" by the Sentebale charity scandal he is enmeshed in and devastated that the charity he founded has been "ripped away" from him. "He loves his charities - this is what he wants to spend his life doing and now, one of them is gone ... and in the most horrible way," a source said.
It doesn't help that he practically has no one to console him anymore. His immediate family of Markle and their children will always be there, but the Royal Family don't seem to want anything to do with him. Even lesser of the Royal Family, like his cousin Princess Eugenie, aren't on speaking with him anymore.
It's just a rough period in Harry's life at the moment. He has proven to be resilient, but everything seems to be going against him. In search of a better life, stepping down from royal duties may have actually led to way more issues than he was hoping.
