Meghan Markle celebrated Valentine's Day with her children on February 14 with no sign of her husband as the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, finds himself over 1000 miles away, hosting the Invictus Games.
The occasion is a competitive sports contest for military and veterans who suffered physical and mental injury in their service and is close to the heart of the 40-year-old son of King Charles III, who served in the British Royal Air Force for a decade.
For 2025, the Games are being hosted in Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada, and as a patron of the event, Markle's husband is not able to be at their Montecito mansion in California on the day of love.
The miles did not split up their love for one another, as the ex-Suits actress still posted a loving message for her men on social media and itted she's missing him a lot, although she found a way to celebrate the day anyway.
The 43-year-old rounded up Archie and Lilibet to make red bagels and other Valentine's Day treats together as the family continues to prove they're happy, even after their decision to quit the Royal Family in 2020.
Markle's loving Prince Harry post
Hours after Prince William and Kate Middleton posted their own loving message on social media with a photo of them sharing a kiss from when the Princess of Wales beat cancer, Markle marked Valentine's her own post.
Critics might try to argue she is once again copying the Brits, but it's likely just down to the time zone difference between California and London. All the same the Duchess of Sussex send her own sweet message to her husband.
"Back home taking care of our babies," Markle posted to Instagram on February 14. "And missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games.
"Changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families.
"Beyond proud of my husband and what he's created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you."
