Prince George is poised to become a billionaire through real estate when Prince William, becomes King of Britain upon the death of the 75-year-old cancer-stricken Charles III.
The 11-year-old is expected to become both the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall when the 42-year-old William replaces his father as the reigning monarch, and the latter title is a very luxurious one.
The Duke of Cornwall controls a vast series of properties and estates across the nation, which is valued by Forbes at an astonishing $1.3 billion and spans across 23 counties in England and Wales.
It includes the historic Oval Cricket Ground and over 67,000 acres of the Dartmoor national park and would make the youngster the largest landowner within Britain by a considerably long distance.
He will also own private homes, mansions and holiday homes within London and on the Isles of Scilly along with childhood home at Highgrove House, which covers an expansive area of farmland.
Away from real estate, Prince George will also inherit nurseries, farming land, car parks, forests and waters and even a beach in the coastal town of Cornwall. Some of this land could be developed for around an extra $455,000,000 in value.
His collection will also include 270 ancient monuments. Some of the landownership under his control will date back to the 11th and 12th centuries.
Along with the immense value, it is thought George will make $22.6m per year from simply owning them alone, which will even be tax-free due to how the United Kingdom's tax system works.
When could Prince George become King?
At the young age of 11, Prince George has some way to go before he ascends to the throne in the future, bar an unforeseen tragedy striking the family.
George will likely become Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall within the next 20 years (King Charles would be 95).
Assuming the 42-year-old William makes it to the Britain's life expectancy of 82, Prince George will ascend the throne sometime around 2065.
