In a recent Instagram post, the young woman opened up about how she has had to live in fear, after suffering from necrotizing fasciitis, which would have limited her in getting roles: "The industry I am part of often focuses on a very narrow idea of what is considered 'aesthetic perfection,' and I was worried that my scars would prevent me from getting work. The truth is that there is no such thing as 'perfection,' but I have still lived with the shame of feeling different, exacerbated by the expectations that came with starting my career at an early age."
