Sometimes actors put their lives on the line to get the scene right, but you might not have expected that to be the case for a dance scene.
However, Salma Hayek has revealed the dangers behind a certain moment in 'Magic Mike's Last Dance'.
The scene in question involves a lap dance and Hayek being upside down, while Channing Tatum holds onto her. The star recently shared how one rehearsal almost went very wrong.
"You know, there's one part that's not in [the film] where I'm upside down and my legs had to be somewhere," Hayek said on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'.
"But upside down, one loses sense of direction, and I didn't do what I was supposed to do, so in the rehearsal, I went like, head down, almost hit my head.
"[Channing] held on to my pants, but I was really concerned because my pants were going away, and I couldn't if I had underwear or not in this moment, so instead of putting my hands to protect my head, I just held onto the pants.
"He's like, 'Put your hands up,' and I'm like, 'No, no, no, no.'"
A hard scene to shoot in 'Magic Mike'
It's not the first time the Oscar-nominated actress has spoken about this particular scene. She has previously talked about the physical demands it entailed.
"It's very physically challenging," Hayek told Entertainment Tonight.
"My goodness. You just wait to see. It's just complicated."
Channing Tatum's dancing skills
Hayek has also mentioned in the past that the film showcases some of Tatum's best dance moves.
"If you thought he could dance [before], you are going to realize you haven't seen anything," Hayek told People in August.
"His dance skills, he just got better."
'Magic Mike's Last Dance' will be hitting the big screen on February 10.
