Diddy's Memorial Day behind bars: No Ciroc, just board games and BBQ as sex trafficking trial continues

Sean "Diddy" Combs won't be spending this Memorial Day in the way fans have seen him celebrate in the past - surrounded by flashing cameras, champagne showers, and yacht parties.

Instead, the 55-year-old hip-hop mogul is marking the holiday at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he remains in custody amid his ongoing federal sex trafficking trial.

According to TMZ, Combs will the day engaged in a more subdued kind of celebration alongside fellow inmates.

The jail has reportedly organized a series of recreational activities to commemorate the holiday, including 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, games of dominoes and spades, and a selection of classic board games.

It's a stark departure from the lavish Memorial Day weekends the Bad Boy Records founder was once known for.

Though behind bars, Combs will still get to enjoy a special menu in honor of the holiday. Breakfast is expected to include cereal and fruit, while lunch will offer a spread of BBQ chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, and a dessert.

Dinner will reportedly consist of chicken and rice, pinto beans, canned corn, and whole wheat bread - a far cry from the fine dining and luxury cuisine the music mogul is used to.

The once-celebrated entrepreneur and father of seven is now facing three serious federal charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transporting individuals for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all counts and continues to deny any wrongdoing.

As the trial moves forward, disturbing testimonies from former associates and alleged victims have taken center stage. Last week, singer Dawn Richard - once a member of the girl group Danity Kane, signed to Combs' label - took the stand to recount multiple alleged incidents of abuse involving Combs and his ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.

"He would drag her and kick her and punch her in the mouth," Richard testified, adding that the violent outbursts reportedly happened when Ventura "would speak up for herself."
