Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas continue to stir up buzz as they're spotted spending time together once again-this time with a signature Cruise twist: a private helicopter ride that looked straight out of an action movie. The actor showed off his pilot skills while flying from Madrid to London, making what might've been a regular travel day feel like a scene from Top Gun. But the real stars of this airborne adventure were Ana's furry companions, Elvis and Salsa.
While Tom was busy playing the cool, collected co-pilot, Ana made sure her dogs were treated like the VIPs they are. She rarely travels without them, and this trip was no exception. However, if she was hoping for a bonding moment between her pets and her maybe-more-than-a-friend, that didn't quite happen. Cruise appeared completely uninterested in the pups throughout the trip-even when they were getting the royal treatment from staff upon landing in England.
The dogs stole the spotlight mid-air
At one point, as Ana tried to juggle her handbag, her two dogs, and the chaos of deboarding, Tom lent a hand... sort of. He helped her off the helicopter and carried her luggage, but when it came to the dogs? Not a finger lifted. No leash holding, no little pets on the head-nothing. It was clear that Elvis and Sala were on their own in impressing Mr. Cruise.
Paparazzi caught the whole moment, and to be fair, the dogs were on their best behavior. They didn't misbehave, and honestly, they seemed like seasoned travelers. Still, Cruise didn't warm up to them, which might say a lot-especially considering how important they are to Ana. Maybe he's just not a dog guy, or maybe the dogs crashing their fancy sky-date wasn't exactly in his game plan.
Not exactly puppy love from Tom
According to People, the two aren't dating and were actually ed by director Doug Liman during the trip, supposedly for a new project they're working on. That might explain why Tom kept it strictly business and didn't go out of his way to charm Ana's furry sidekicks. After all, when you're focused on a secret film mission, there's not always time to win over the pets.
Still, if Cruise really wanted to earn extra points with Ana, a quick scratch behind the ear for Elvis or Sala wouldn't have hurt. Who knows-maybe next time, he'll be the one holding the leash.
