Terrence Howard has come forward with explosive claims about music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing him of making an unwanted sexual advance during what was supposed to be a professional collaboration.
In a candid interview on the PBD Podcast, the Empire and Hustle & Flow actor said Combs invited him several times to provide acting coaching, but the meetups quickly took a turn. "He just kept sitting there looking at me," Howard said, describing a pattern of behavior that made him increasingly uncomfortable.
According to Howard, he eventually asked his assistant what was going on. The assistant allegedly replied, "I think he's trying to f-k you." That's when Howard claims he decided to cut off all communication with Combs.
"When you approach a real man, you get a real reaction"
Howard didn't hold back as he described his response. "I've lost business because I don't compromise," he said, adding that he's had to threaten other producers who crossed a line in the past. "I don't play gay roles. I don't kiss men. That's just not who I am."
The Iron Man star emphasized that the "man card means everything" to him and noted that he's faced pressure throughout his career to conform to expectations he wasn't comfortable with. "When you approach a real man about his masculinity, you're going to get a real reaction back," he added.
More trouble for Diddy amid mounting legal woes
Howard's claims add to the growing list of accusations against Combs, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking charges and multiple lawsuits involving both men and women. Though no formal charges have been filed in connection to Howard's allegation, the actor is the first high-profile male celebrity to claim that Combs directly made a sexual advance.
Page Six reports that Combs has previously clashed with Howard, allegedly barring his stepson Quincy Brown from appearing on Empire due to disagreements over music rights. It's unclear if those tensions are related to Howard's current revelations.
Combs, who remains behind bars ahead of his trial scheduled for May 5, has denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
