Hailey Bieber is no longer following her husband, Justin Bieber, on Instagram following a livestream by the pop star that raised concern among fans.
The unexpected change in her following list sparked speculation online about the state of the couple's relationship.
Over the weekend, Justin went live on Instagram, appearing shirtless and rapping along to an unreleased track. In the video, his demeanor raised red flags for viewers. His eyes appeared heavy, and he swayed from side to side while reciting lyrics that included, "You just a little bitty bitch, for sure."
Shortly after the livestream aired, Justin deactivated his Instagram . When it was reactivated, s noticed Hailey no longer appeared among his followers, although Justin still follows her.
By Monday morning, she had not resumed following him.
Technical error may explain Hailey's unfollow
A source told Page Six that the situation may be the result of a platform issue rather than a deliberate decision. According to the source, a "Meta glitch" occurred when Justin briefly deactivated and reactivated his , potentially altering the follower list.
Neither representatives for the Biebers nor Meta, Instagram's parent company, responded to requests for comment.
While this could be a benign technical hiccup, the incident comes amid ongoing speculation surrounding the couple's marriage. In January, Justin himself raised eyebrows by allegedly unfollowing Hailey on the platform. He later suggested on his Instagram Story that someone else may have been behind it, writing, "S-t is getting suss out here."
Despite public displays of affection in February, including a Valentine's Day date and Hailey's skincare event, Justin's behavior at the latter drew scrutiny. Videos showed him appearing restless, shifting his weight and clutching his clothing.
A source told Page Six at the time that Hailey was "really concerned" and struggling to her husband as he navigated personal difficulties.
In recent months, Justin has shared a series of introspective posts across social media, referencing feelings of unworthiness and past anger issues. One post read that he had "anger issues" and sometimes "hates" himself, further fueling concern.
Hailey and Justin married in 2018 and recently welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024.
Neither has publicly addressed the recent Instagram activity.
