Jennifer Aniston is reportedly concerned about her longtime Friends co-star David Schwimmer following his new relationship with 29-year-old UCLA medical student Eliana Jolkovsky.
The significant age gap - Schwimmer is 58 - has allegedly raised red flags for Aniston, who believes the actor might be setting himself up for another heartbreak.
Sources claim Aniston has a history of looking out for Schwimmer and, following the recent loss of their Friends co-star Matthew Perry, she has become even more protective of those closest to her.
Schwimmer's romantic history has been filled with ups and downs. Over the years, he has been linked to singer Natalie Imbruglia, actress Mili Avital, Spanish actress Carla Alapont, and singer-actress Tina Barrett.
His only marriage, to artist Zoë Buckman, lasted seven years before ending in divorce in 2017. The former couple shares a 13-year-old daughter, Cleo.
Now, with Schwimmer publicly dating Jolkovsky, Aniston is reportedly skeptical. "Jen can't help meddling, and David means a great deal to her," an insider revealed. "She doesn't think this is a good match!"
Though Schwimmer's representative has denied the claims, sources suggest Aniston believes her friend is repeating old mistakes.
"He keeps repeating the same mistake over and over, and Jen has watched him lurch from one relationship to another," the insider added. "She doesn't want to see him hurt again and feels he'd be better off with someone his own age."

Following the tragic ing of Matthew Perry in 2023, Aniston has reportedly taken on a more protective role toward her former castmates.
Perry, who played Chandler Bing on Friends, died from a drug-related drowning, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him well.
A source close to Aniston said, "She tends to involve herself in her friends' business, and here she is doing it again."
Schwimmer and Aniston previously itted they had feelings for each other while filming Friends, though they never pursued a relationship.
