The Southern California fires continue to rage, things are slowly getting better, but in Los Angeles things are definitely out of control in the early days of 2025. More than 153,000 people have been evacuated from their homes for safety reasons. The county declared a public health emergency, citing the dangers of smoke and particulate matter.

And well, Kim Kardashian can't get enough of being on the front pages, as the model reportedly ignored water conservation rules and was criticized for her excessive use during a very complicated time for SoCal. When perfect in this type of scenario, water can help those who need it as firefighters.

It should come as no surprise, as Kim was in a similar situation back in 2022 for using 232,000 gallons of water to take care of her garden, despite California's strict water conservation measures, authorities ended up fining her, according to reports from Radar Online.

She's not the only Hollywood star to be targeted

In the same year, Kevin Hart,Sylvester Stallone and Dwyane Wade were also targeted.

Social media s didn't forgive them, criticizing them for overwatering X:

"This group thinks they can just pay their way through this issue. This is too serious an issue - give them notice, then CUT OFF their usage if they go so grossly over - that will get their attention between selfies."

"Supposedly water regulators will be installed for people who don't comply. It will only allow them to use so much water per day. After they pay the big whopping $100 fine."

"Celebrities are the main cause in destroying our planet, using too much water, using private jets like there cars, extravagant parties causing so much waste in food and from their one time decor".

These were some of the comments read on social media.

Another controversy: Hiring private firefighters

The big Hollywood celebrities do not stop getting into controversies, the measure of hiring private firefighters is another one that makes people angry, accusing these millionaires of being selfish and not thinking about those in need.

According to several sources, hiring these services is very expensive, it would be approximately $2000 dollars per hour, this includes a service to take care of your home and your property.

The demand for this service is so great that, according to Chris Dunn, head of a private station, he stated: "My phone hasn't stopped ringing. The demand has never been greater.

Meanwhile, a man defended himself against criticism in a media outlet without revealing his identity: "This week's events have shown that you can't trust the city to protect your property. I have the money, so why not?" he reportedly said.

The reality is that everyone uses their resources in their own way, but wasting water at this time is not the right thing to do, and definitely deserves a lot of attention at a very complicated time for the residents of Los Angeles.
