After almost three decades, George Clooney has officially sold his luxurious Los Angeles estate for a whopping $14.5 million. The property, located in the exclusive Fryman Canyon area of Studio City, was once Clooney's ultimate bachelor pad, and later, a family retreat shared with his wife, Amal Clooney. This recent sale marks a significant chapter closing for the Hollywood star, who initially bought the home in 1995 for $2.2 million from Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks.

The estate boasts an impressive 7,000 square feet of living space, spread across a main house and several guest houses on a sprawling 3.1-acre plot. Complete with a tennis court, swimming pool, and meticulously maintained grounds, the property offers privacy and seclusion, hidden behind dense trees that shield it from prying eyes.

From party central to private oasis

Before settling down, Clooney hosted countless A-list gatherings and events at this home, making it a well-known social hub in Hollywood. But after marrying Amal in 2014, the property transformed from a bachelor's haven into a peaceful family retreat. In an interview with Vogue in 2018, Amal Clooney even referred to the estate as the couple's "private oasis," reflecting its evolution into a space designed for relaxation and family life.

The sale of the Studio City mansion does not leave the Clooneys without options, however. The couple maintains an impressive real estate portfolio, which includes homes in Italy, , and New York. The Los Angeles property's new owner is inheriting not just a piece of prime real estate, but a slice of Hollywood history.

Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency Inc. represented Clooney in the sale and confirmed the transaction, though he declined to comment further on the details. With Clooney's departure from this iconic property, it will be interesting to see how the next owner utilizes the sprawling estate.

As Clooney and Amal move on to their other residences around the globe, this sale is a testament to the enduring appeal of star-studded Los Angeles real estate.
