Hugh Jackman officially addressed his marital woes in a statement to the media, however the actor was unable to escape the clutches of a determined TMZ photographer and had to answer further questions.
After being asked directly about his divorce, the Wolverine star gave a few choice words about the situation, although he was clearly uncomfortable.
"It doesn't feel right to discuss this now," Jackman explained to TMZ.
"We're going through a hard time."

One of Hollywood's longest marriages has been between Hugh Jackman and Debora-Lee Furness, whom have been married for 27 years.
However, in a statement released on Friday Jackman confirmed the split from his partner, which was something nobody in the Hollywood inner-circle expected.
In professional , Jackman's career is also at a standstill at this moment too, with the Hollywood actor and writer strike limiting any sort of filming.
This was an issue that the TMZ journalist also asked about with relation to Deadpool 3, a film that has been delayed as filming has been postponed due to the strikes.
"[We'll be back] as soon as we're allowed to," Jackman concluded.
In of the official statement that was released by the former couple, they spoke of a wonderful and loving marriage which has been the victim of shifting journeys.
"We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth," the statement read.
"Our family has been, and always will be, our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transitional in all of our lives."
