Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, did not show up to his court date at Broward County on Monday. Fans are now worried about the rapper's well-being, especially due to a recent Instagram Live where he seems to be spiraling.
Black, 26, will now have the bond set at a quarter of a million dollars whenever he surrenders or is arrested. The South Florida native has a warrant out for his detention due to skipping a mandatory drug test.
He was charged with trafficking oxycodone in July 2022 and is currently out on probation.
Black went on IG Live a day prior to missing his court date and mumbling to himself while sitting shirtless in a poorly lit room.
"I'm a great person, I was born an innocent sweet child," Kodak said at one point. "Y'all did this to me, on God."
Is Kodak Black okay?
This is not the first time Black scares fans due to bizarre behavior and certainly won't be the last.
He posted to Instagram after missing his court date and seems to be doing well ahead of Monday night's Kodak Black & Friends concert at Pompano Beach Amphitheater.
Black has been promoting the concert on his Instagram all day, so it's safe to say he'll be there.
The South Florida rapper recently wrote, directed and starred in a short film titled "The Don," which coincided with the release of his latest studio album "Pistolz & Pearlz" in May.
