Trinity Rodman has a penchant for rewriting the history books.

During the U.S. Women's National Team's final friendly match before the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, the burgeoning star came off the bench at halftime and scored both of the team's goals in their 2-0 win vs. Wales. In doing so, she became the youngest national team player to score twice in one game.

The first goal was a well-worked tap-in following a Sophia Smith assist. The second was a lovely, curling shot from outside the box that no keeper could stop.

Back in February of 2022, Rodman signed the richest contract in NWSL history. She was nominated for the Ballon d'Or Féminin later that year.

In 2023, she has become one of the best players in the league and has turned that club form into a consistent role on the national team. She will be on her way to New Zealand at the end of this month for the World Cup, where the U.S. will compete with the Netherlands, Portugal and Vietnam in Group E.

Unlike Father, Unlike Daughter

It's tough to talk about the soccer star and not mention her father. Dennis Rodman has long been in the media's spotlight for his eccentric personality and daring decisions.

His latest escapade involved getting a tattoo of his girlfriend's face... directly on his face. While Dennis keeps making headlines for the wrong reasons, Trinity is making them for the right reasons.
