Inspired by the journeys of the pioneers, the golden records of the Voyager spacecraft, the periodic table and astronomy, they tried to capture the design of the trophy that will be contested in the United States.

In addition, the trophy will also be engraved with FIFA's 211 member associations, as well as featuring football illustrations and text in thirteen languages (German, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, Classical Greek, Hindi, English, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese and Russian), as well as Braille. The engraving on the centre ring is in Spanish, French and English.

"The trophy had to be innovative, inclusive, cutting-edge and truly global, just like the competition. The FIFA Club World Cup trophy, the equivalent of the World Cup trophy, is inspired by our history and is a groundbreaking symbol of the thriving future of club football," said Gianni Infantino.

FIFA has designed the trophy in collaboration with Tiffany & Co, which is made of gold vermeil. The cover is laser-engraved with elements from the sport's rich history and culture, as well as images of footballers, fans ing their teams and the date of FIFA's founding.
