Mexico climbs in FIFA Ranking and establishes itself as the 'Giant of Concacaf'

The new list of national teams was released after the October FIFA Date

The Mexican national team continues to rise under the leadership of Javier Aguirre and Rafael Marquez, and this is demonstrated in the October 2024 FIFA Ranking.

After their victory over the United States, as the match against Valencia is not counted, El Tri continues to establish itself as the 'Giant of Concacaf', moving up one position.

After 175 international matches in the last FIFA Date, Argentina does not let go of the top, although its closest pursuers, and Spain, are getting closer.

There are no changes from the September listing in the top six positions, where they are followed by England, Brazil and Belgium. However, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal displaced the Netherlands, while Italy did the same with Colombia in the top 10.

The next FIFA Ranking will be published on November 28, when the last international break of 2024 will be played.

Best Concacaf national teams - October 2024

With regard to the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, the Mexican national team continues to lead the way, as it did in the September FIFA ranking.

With their victory over the United States, Javier Aguirre's side moved up one place, while the Stars and Stripes remained in 18th place, the only Concacaf countries in the top 20.
