This Sunday, May 25, the Monaco Grand Prix takes place and, beyond the glamour of the paddock, the principality is full of luxury, ostentation and, above all, a scene that is repeated every year: the Monaco harbour full of floating mansions, where the world's wealthiest people stay, away from hotels and any Airbnb.
These types of yachts are not within everyone's reach, even though they are so close to the port where anyone can stroll and watch the celebrities, drivers and other personnel of the top category of motorsport that every year gathers in the Principality.
The best yachts from which to watch the F1 in Monaco
They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and with all kinds of extravagances, but few come close to the one seen, for example, these days in Monaco and owned by Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH. The 'Symphony', valued at $150 million, is no less than 101 meters long.
Most of the moorings are booked in advance of the Monaco GP, so accessing the port is practically impossible if you have not paid a certain amount to have a privileged place from which to enjoy the most luxurious weekend of motorsport.
One option for those who do not have their own yacht, but have deep pockets, is to turn to Amber Lounge, which this year took advantage of the 'MAC ONE', a 30-metre yacht that has privileged views of the circuit, with free food and drink for all those who access it. However, the price for Saturday 24, for example, was around 2,000 euros, while for Sunday 25, race day, that figure increased to 3,000 euros.
