Max Verstappen has everything in his hands to sign his championship this weekend at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver had a tough battle with McLaren's Lando Norris for the top spot, but the good gap that the Dutchman ended up making in the Brazilian GP helps him to have hopes that this weekend he will be crowned champion of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
If Norris finishes in second position, in addition to getting the extra point for setting the fastest lap, Verstappen would need to win. If he is only runner-up in the race, Max would have to finish third, and also set the fastest lap.
The margins, for the title, are very similar from the podium sites to eighth position, so if the Briton finishes ninth (without extra point) or tenth, immediately Max would be celebrating his fourth crown in F1.
