Lil Wayne left in no doubt over Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul prediction: 'It's a disrespectful question'

Mike Tyson is gathering more momentum and ahead of his highly-anticipated return to professional boxing against Jake Paul.

The two fighters will face off in the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20 in a money-spinning fight, with both men set to add eight figures to their respective bank balances.

But there is more than just money on the line. At 58, it is likely to be Tyson's final fight and it comes four years after his previous bout against Roy Jones Jr.

Paul, who is 31 years his junior, has constructed a decent career in boxing after making his name as a YouTuber, beating MMA icons and mid-level boxers, although he was beaten by Tommy Fury in his previous outing.

But for Lil Wayne, the iconic rapper and producer, there is no doubt Tyson will steamroll his opponent. In a conversation with Undisputed's Skip Bayless, the presenter asked him to pick a winner - and the 'A Milli' rapper didn't even hesitate.

"If it's a real fight, I have Mike Tyson and I believe it's a disrespectful question."

Bayless asked again: "That's how much you believe in 58-year-old Mike Tyson?", before Wayne declared: "I don't care if he was 85-year-old Mike Tyson", adding that Tyson could end the fight by landing one punch.

Tyson Fury echoes Lil Wayne's thoughts

Someone who has much more experience in the world of boxing is Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight champion who went 34 fights without defeat before his split decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

The 35-year-old spoke ahead of the fight on May 16 to Ariel Helwani on May 16 and 'The Gypsy King' had no doubt in his mind who would be victorious.

"If Mike Tyson hits anybody, I don't care if he's 90 - he's going to knock them out cold, isn't he?"

With some critics claiming the fight is being staged for financial reasons only, Fury backed his namesake by claiming his detractors were jealous of his fame and sexual appeal.

"Only jealous fighters who aren't getting paid and not getting laid, those are the fighters that are jealous."
