Boxer Devin Haney didn't hold back when responding to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel's recent post about his fight with Ryan Garcia. Samuel's post, made on Thursday, seemed to reference Garcia's positive test for the performance-enhancing substance ostarine.

Haney, with a perfect career record of 31-0 and the reigning WBC super lightweight champion, was expected to defeat Garcia.

However, Garcia surprised everyone by knocking Haney down three times during the fight. Although one judge ruled the fight a draw, the other two scored in favor of Garcia, marking a significant victory for him.

"It's unfortunate Ryan cheated and disrespected both the fans and the sport of boxing by fighting dirty and breaking positive not once, but twice," Haney said.

The exchange between Haney and Samuel on social media

Garcia denied taking any banned substance in a video posted on X on Wednesday night.

"I've never taken a steroid," he noted.

"I don't even know where to get steroids at the end of the day. I barely take supplements."

However, Samuel's post seemed to imply that the fight's outcome would have been the same regardless of Garcia's alleged PED use. Haney clearly took offense to this insinuation, leading to his response on social media.

"Either way he got outboxed," Samuel wrote.

To which Haney responded: "N****s like u can't fight a lick. A n***a would real life punch on you in real life."
