IBF bantamweight titleholder Ebanie Bridges has been out of the ring since December due to a hand injury sustained during her successful defense against Shannon O'Connell. Although she has been training, she's not yet ready for another fight.
During this time, Bridges has been actively creating content and seeking collaborations outside of her training sessions.
After boxer Mikaela Mayer ed OnlyFans, Bridges expressed interest in teaming up with her. Additionally, Bridges recently revealed her desire to collaborate with Paige VanZant, another fighter and content creator.
However, organizing the collaboration with VanZant has been challenging due to their busy schedules and Bridges' relocation. Despite the setbacks, Bridges remains hopeful and enthusiastic about the potential collaboration.
"We were trying to organize it but she got really busy and I moved, so many things," Bridges told her followers.
"Hopefully we can get back on track because I would love to collab with Paige VanZant.
"That would be f*cking sexy."
Both Bridges and VanZant are familiar with content collaborations, as they have previously engaged in such endeavors with other individuals on their respective platforms.
While getting back in the ring to defend her title presents challenges, the possibility of collaborating with VanZant appears more feasible and exciting for Bridges at the moment.
Earlier in the year, Bridges' trainer had set sights on a July return for the 36-year-old boxer. However, with more than half of the month now ed, it seems unlikely to occur as planned.
As of now, the entire year of 2023 may be out of the question for Bridges' comeback. The reason for this potential delay, possibly due to a setback in her hand injury recovery, has not been disclosed publicly.
