WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson is continuing to make history both on and off the court, as the Las Vegas Aces forward has signed a six-year contract extension with Nike.
The deal, reportedly one of the most lucrative shoe endorsements for a women's basketball player, solidifies Wilson's growing influence in the sport.
A'ja Wilson just did it
Wilson's partnership with Nike, first announced in May when she ed the company's roster of signature athletes, marks another major milestone with the release of her first signature shoe, the A'One.
The highly anticipated sneaker is set to hit the market in spring 2025, just ahead of the WNBA season.
"It's been incredible working with Nike toward a dream of having my collection,"Wilson shared in a statement earlier this year.
"From my logo to the look of the shoe and the pieces throughout the collection, we've worked to make sure every detail is perfectly tuned to my game and style."
The three-time WNBA MVP's deal comes after an exceptional year, which saw her dominate the league and further cement her legacy.
Wilson became the first player to score over 1,000 points in a single WNBA season, finishing with a record-breaking 1,021.
She also added her second Olympic gold medal this summer, earning MVP honors for Team USA's championship run in Paris.
A'ja Wilson's star power keeps soaring
Wilson s an exclusive list of WNBA athletes with signature shoes, including New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu and league legend Breanna Stewart.
Her deal also places her alongside other major Nike athletes like Serena Williams, Megan Rapinoe, and Naomi Osaka.
The agreement highlights the growing commercial power of WNBA stars as the league continues to gain momentum.
For Wilson, this partnership represents more than just a shoe-it's a symbol of her dominance, style, and influence as one of basketball's most iconic figures.
