Nike made waves at Super Bowl LIX by returning to halftime advertising for the first time in 27 years with its powerful So Win campaign, which celebrated women in sports and starred the Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark but Adidas quickly fired back with a Fever star of their own.

Nike encouraged female athletes to silence their doubters, as well as women around the world, with a series of WNBA stars in their ad, but Adidas wasn't about to let that moment unanswered.

In response, Adidas launched its own You Got This campaign, focusing on the mental struggles athletes face and the voices that help them push past self-doubt. The campaign's star? None other than Aliyah Boston.

Boston, the first overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, was named Rookie of the Year and has continued to dominate as a forward, averaging 14 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 2024 as the Fever made the postseason.

Yet despite her impressive individual accomplishments, much of the attention surrounding the Fever has been on Clark. However, Adidas is making sure Boston gets the recognition she deserves.

With Boston leading the way, Indiana secured its first WNBA Playoff appearance since 2016. Now, thanks to Adidas, she's stepping into the national spotlight, proving that the Fever's championship aspirations rest on more than just one star.

Fever prepares for title charge

The Fever front office moved swiftly to strengthen their roster, bringing in championship-tested veterans DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard to instill a winning mindset and provide invaluable experience.

That partners up nicely with the talents offered by the young Clark and Boston, who enshrine the mantra of the executives as they bid to create a young, hungry and competitive team moving

With their sights now set on a title, the Fever are poised to take a major leap forward this season as they pursue their first WNBA Championship since 2012, when they defeated the Minnesota Lynx 3-1 in the Finals.
