NASCAR driver Josh Berry and the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing team are set to debut a special paint scheme at the Brickyard 400.

This weekend, Berry's Ford Mustang Dark Horse will feature a prominent image of WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark, thanks to a partnership with Panini Trading Cards.

Caitlin Clark, the new face of Indianapolis sports

Caitlin Clark, an Indiana Fever star who has quickly become a household name in Indiana, will be featured on Berry's car as NASCAR returns to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval after three years of racing on the infield road course.

This collaboration with Panini marks their first primary car sponsorship of the 2024 season and their first at the Cup Series level since 2021.

The paint scheme will highlight one of Clark's trading cards from her record-breaking college basketball career at Iowa, specifically the "Raining 3s" card from Panini's recently released Caitlin Clark Collection.

Like Clark, Josh Berry is also a rookie

Berry, a rookie in NASCAR's premier series, currently leads the Rookie of the Year standings.

The 33-year-old has had an impressive season with two top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes.

He is aiming to secure a spot in the playoffs with just five races left in the regular season.

"The No. 4 team has a bunch of really smart guys putting together strategies, building fast cars, and giving me a chance to go race hard,"Berry stated.

"We set off this year with the goal of winning the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award and we are close to that."

Sunday's race at the Brickyard marks Berry's first time on the 2.5-mile oval at Indianapolis.

After this weekend, NASCAR will take a two-week break for the Paris Olympic Games before resuming with four straight races leading into the 10-race playoffs, starting on September 8 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Meanwhile, Clark and the Indiana Fever have one game this week against the Dallas Wings before the WNBA pauses for the All-Star weekend and the Olympic break.

Clark is set to participate in the WNBA All-Star Game, facing off against the U.S. Olympic team in a nationally televised game on ABC this Saturday.
