Selected with the seventh overall pick, Angel Reese landed with the Chicago Sky. Known as "Bayou Barbie" during her college days at LSU, Reese brought tenacity, rebounding dominance, and a fierce competitive edge to the professional stage. She wasted no time making an impact with the Sky, proving herself to be one of the most physical and active forwards in the league.
Reese's rookie year included a selection to the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie Team, and she also earned a spot in the WNBA All-Star Game, making her one of the few rookies to receive that honor.
