It took the Minnesota Timberwolves five games to eliminate the Los Angeles Lakers from the Playoffs after defeating them 96-103 and closing the first round series in their favor with a crushing 1-4.
Luka Doncic was the top scorer for the Lakers with 28 points and 9 assists and LeBron James, 22. Although Anthony Edwards only scored almost half as much as Docic with 15 points and missed 3 of 4 shots, the home team's effort was not enough to reverse the results and fight for a sixth game.
