Bronny James, son of LeBron James, put together a legendary NBA Draft Combine performance that left even the most dedicated critics struggling to find flaws in his workout. Watch this three-point shooting masterclass and try to poke a hole in the immaculate performance.
Bronny made 12 three pointers in a row, going over a minute without missing a deep shot during a shooting and conditioning drill.
Of course, online trolls still attempted to tear down the 19-year-old, with one popular post coming from none other than an NFL star. "Bro's catch and release is 2-3 business days," said a Twitter/X post with over 10,000 likes by Carolina Panthers punter Johnny Hekker. Regardless of his empty gym release time, Bronny's numbers didn't lie.
Bronny James NBA Draft Combine measurements
According to sources from the NBA Combine, James finished the 3-point shooting drill 19-for-25, second best among all participants. His max vertical of 40.5 inches also went down as the fourth-highest at the combine.
The only cause for concern was Bronny's height without shoes, which was measured at 6-foot-1. However, his 6-foot-7 wingspan and the genetic potential to keep growing toward his father's 6-foot-9 frame help mitigate his height some.
Not bad for a borderline second-round pick, believed to only be on NBA teams' draft boards because drafting him could persuade LeBron James to opt out of his deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and whichever team drafts Bronny.
