Ever since the two have squared off in the NBA, LeBron James and Steph Curry have battled it out for supremacy.

The two have experienced periods of huge success on the court, and with both men inching ever closer to retirement, it looks as though Curry is keen to follow LeBron's blueprint off the court.

"A lot of debate but there can only be one GOAT. #GOATmovie arrives February 2026," Curry recently posted on Instagram.

While the debate on who the GOAT in basketball will likely never end, don't worry, Curry isn't keen to get involved in it.

Instead, the Warriors star is promoting his Unanimous Media production's animated sports comedy movie.

This comes after LeBron starred in the 2021 animated film Space Jam: A New Legacy. While the movie wasn't a hit with critics or fans, all eyes will be on whether Curry's company can make it big in the $454 billion industry.

Curry looking ahead

With Curry turning 37 in March, the end of his illustrious career is inching ever closer.

He recently talked about the closing stages of his playing days, itting it is something he thinks about more regularly than in the past.

"You think about that more and more," Curry told Tim Kawakami of San Francisco Standard. "I'm not at the farewell yet. That's just part of time."

Nevertheless, he hasn't lost sight of what matters most to him which is winning. He is still keen to add another title to his cabinet, though the chase for a fifth title won't be easy.

"To be competitive, where you have a chance - that's what we want to see. I'm sure that's what our fans want to see," said Curry.
