The Boston Celtics are a powerhouse in the NBA and one of the most consistent and dominant teams with strong performances on the playoffs since 2016... and in the 2024-2025 season, the franchise with the most titles in the league's history (18) is looking to run it back.

Last season, the Celtics gave a dominant performance during the Finals and took home the Larry O'Brien trophy as they beat the Dallas Mavericks 4-1, their first championship since 2008.

The warning from the Celtics to the NBA

Veterans Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White make the squad a headache to the rest of the league. On a video posted on social media, the Celtics said that they have bad news for the rest of the league because they are just getting started.

"We know what happened last year. Back to the drawing board, hungry for a new challenge. Not running from anything but towards everything. Repeat, intensity (...) attack, attack, attack.", can be heard from multiple Celtics.

The video ends with the message: "The difference between winning and losing? The fundamentals. The details, the steps we take, whatever it takes. We didn't get this by defending these (past championships), so why start now?."

The Celtics road a to repeat start this Tuesday night at TD Garden in Boston when they match up against the New York Knicks. With most of his roster intact, the winningest franchise on the NBA is a clear favorite to get to the Finals and run it back.

The Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Orlando Magic are the main teams that could challenge the Boston squad in the Eastern Conference.
