- Boston Celtics head coach shares his plan to embrace the challenge of being the defending champion
Jayson Tatum is still very young but his accomplishments in life points to a guy that has done it all. He recently won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics and he is looking for more.
His team ended a 16-year title drought in large part thanks to hi but that was not all, as he followed up his summer by helping Team USA conquer the gold medal at the Paris Olympics and he will now earn $35 million in the year.
He is nearing the end of his five-year $163 million contract with the Celtics but his many lucrative endorsements have permitted him to buy some good hardware and this time he has chosen vehicles as part of his pastime.
Buying cars is his hobby
Besides wining trophies and championship and being recognized for his job on the court, he also has a very extensive and luxurious number of cars. Jayson Tatum lives in a $4 million, 6,248-square-foot home in Newton, Massachusetts and he has a vehicle collection worth around $700,000.
Just to start, he has a 1968 Ford Mustang GT390, a car featured in the Warner Brothers movie Bullitt and was driven by Steve McQueen. He also has a 2021 Rolls-Royce Waith worth around $300,000 to go with it but that is not all.
A Mercedes-AMG G 63 is another one in the garage. This G-Class SUV is worth over $170,000 and it is powered by a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine that produces around 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. This collection is destined to increase soon because he can only have more success on the court and will translate into deals that would let him buy more of his beloved cars.
